Candles

White spots have appeared on my candle.

This phenomenon is called frosting. This is not mold, nor is it a quality defect.

It occurs with pure soy wax candles if they are stored in a cold place for a long time.

Many people say this only makes the candle more special, as if it were frosted :)

How can I prevent it?

Try to store your candles at room temperature.

If spots have already appeared on your candle and bother you, try to gently warm the surface of the candle.

What is soy wax, and why is it better than traditional candle wax?

Soy wax is a natural, plant-based wax made from soybeans. It is environmentally friendly, comes from a renewable source, and produces less soot when burning than paraffin. It provides a cleaner and more even burn.

Why is the bisque firing important?

On the first burn, let the candle burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted (usually 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn later on.

For how long should I burn the candle at once?

It is recommended to burn for a maximum of 3–4 hours at a time. This helps maintain the candle's quality and safe use.

Is it natural for the surface of a candle not to be completely smooth?

Yes. Soy wax is a natural product, so minor surface imperfections, discolouration or "frosting" may occur. This does not affect the quality or burn of the candle.

How strong is their scent?

Soy wax candles provide a pleasant, even fragrance. The scent is not overpowering, but delicately fills the space.

Do they contain harmful substances?

Our candles do not contain paraffin. They are made with quality fragrances and carefully selected ingredients.
